A healthier relationship with alcohol is a workplace wellbeing issue.

Vibrant Sobriety has been created by Zoƫ Brough to help organisations create healthier conversations around alcohol, wellbeing and performance.

Alcohol doesn't have to be a ā€œproblemā€ before it affects people at work. Could your best people be hindered by their alcohol use? Organisations have an opportunity to make healthier choices easier, without becoming intrusive or telling employees how to live their lives.

For many employees, drinking often sits in the grey area. It may be affecting sleep, energy, concentration, confidence, mood or wellbeing without ever reaching the point where they would seek traditional alcohol support. At the same time, alcohol can be deeply embedded in workplace culture. Celebrations, networking, client entertainment, team socials and simply ā€œgoing for a drinkā€ can make drinking feel like the default.

As a board-level HR professional, I know how normalised alcohol can be in the workplace and how much stigma can be attached to someone coming forward to say they have a problem. Many people questioning their relationship with alcohol are not addicts, but HR departments and managers often do not know how to offer support.

Sobriety is good for business. The service can include:

1. Education & Culture Workshops

Talks, workshops and facilitated sessions around:

  • Alcohol, wellbeing and performance

  • Grey-area / middle-lane drinking

  • Alcohol and workplace culture

  • Inclusive socialising

  • Alcohol, stress and coping

  • Supporting healthier choices without judgement

2. Confidential Coaching

Employers can fund access to one-to-one Vibrant Sobriety coaching for employees who want to explore or change their relationship with alcohol. Individual coaching is confidential. The organisation funds the support, but the coaching conversation belongs to the employee.

Coaching can also take a neurodiversity-aware approach, supported by my specialist ADHD coaching training.

Wellbeing with an organisational lens.

Vibrant Sobriety isn't disconnected from the realities of work. Through Zoë’s wider people & culture practice, she brings more than two decades of experience working with organisations, leaders and employees, including holding senior leadership roles in elite sport. That means ZoĆ« understands both sides of the conversation; individual wellbeing and the organisational conditions that influence it.

For People, HR & Wellbeing Leaders.

You don't need to wait until alcohol becomes an employee relations issue.

Vibrant Sobriety can sit alongside your existing wellbeing strategy, EAP and occupational health provision, offering earlier, preventative support for people who may never identify with traditional alcohol services.

Please note: I am not providing addiction treatment, diagnosis, medical advice or detox support. Where someone's needs fall outside coaching, appropriate professional services should be signposted.

Let's talk about what this could look like in your organisation.

Whether you're exploring a one-off session, a wellbeing initiative or confidential coaching provision, I can design a bespoke approach that fits your people and culture.
